Introduction to Yacht and Boats Hi Speed Yacht
The word Yacht has been derived from the dutch word Jacht. It means `a small boat'. Due to the leisure in yachts, they are comfortable and are owned by the wealthy. A boat is a watercraft that is used to provide transport over water. Sometimes submarines can also be called boats, despite their underwater capabilities and size. Boats can be used for both commercial and non-commercial purposes. Commercially it can be used for military and government purpose. The rough horizontal surface of the boat is called as the Deck. Generally boats have only one deck. The front of a boat is called as bow whereas the rear of the boat is called as the stern. A yacht is always in private use. It is not used for commercial carriage of cargo or passengers. It is used for pleasure cruising or racing propelled by sail or power. The sport of sailing using yachts is called as yachting, which is quite common in US. All sizes of yachts can be used for racing. Dry sailing yachts are used only for hourly or daily use because they do not have a cabin. Whereas weekender yachts can be used for short journey of 2-3 days and can operate in shallow water. Cruising yachts are big in size but complex in design. They have beautiful wood interior.
