Stock & Bond Brokers Accounting Services - Investment Chart
A stock broker is a qualified and regulated professional who buys and sells shares and other securities through market makers on behalf of investors. In order to become a stockbroker in the United States, a person must pass the General Securities Representative Exam. With the advent of automated stockbroking systems on the Internet the client often has no personal contact with his/her stockbroking firm. The stockbroker's system performs all the stockbroking functions: it obtains the best price from the market and executes and settles the trade. Bankruptcy is a legally declared inability or impairment of ability of an individual or organizations to pay their creditors. Creditors may file a bankruptcy petition against a debtor in an effort to recoup a portion of what they are owed. In the majority of cases, however, bankruptcy is initiated by the debtor. The primary purpose of bankruptcy is: to give an honest debtor a "fresh start" in life by relieving the debtor of most debts, and to repay creditors in an orderly manner to the extent that the debtor has the means available for payment.
