| Liquor licensing is necessary to regulate the sale and supply of alcohol and develop a dynamic liquor industry. There are various liquor licensing divisions which work for the welfare of public. Anyone can complain to the division if he is ill-treated or disturbed by a license business. The complaint should be in written and should mention the concerns about the incident with the date and time of the incident written on it. All written complaints are followed up and are treated confidential unless otherwise mentioned. Alcohol management plans restrict a part of a community or area from drinking. Some licensed premises are also restricted and posed with some conditions like no alcohol should be given to taxi drivers, ban on sale of pre-mixed spirits in containers which weigh more than two litres. Licensing division prevents violence in licensed premises and other public places. A liquor license is necessary if you sell or supply liquor on permanent basis. Liquor license can be given to a company, a person above 18 years of age, an incorporated association or club, or an individual on behalf of an unincorporated association or club. Any licensee may hold more than one license provided he must have a separate nominee for each premise. | |||
