Poultry Diseases
Diseases that afflict poultry are called poultry diseases. However complete eradication of this disease is important to the poultry industry. It is very crucial for a poultry producer to reap the benefits and maintain a healthy parasite-free flock. For early detection of diseases a constant monitoring of the flock is required as it gives symptoms for proper diagnosis. There are three important factors to be considered for accurate diagnosis: Knowledge of vital organs and body structure Recognition of disease symptoms and lesions Careful examination of the body of a bird A complete familiarity with the normal appearance of birds, identifying the affected organs and tissues helps before seeking a poultry specialist. Poultry diseases are not individualistic you need to count them as diseases of the flock. Immediate identification of the cause and appropriate treatment can prevent increase of any minor condition. Symptoms shown by few birds are an indication of serious flock problem.
